The Water Storage Tank is Herrick Archives Building Number S 15. It is located at 735 Hess Road, an address for indexing purposes only. It is an elevated steel torospherical water tank with a capacity of 500,000 gallons.
It does not appear in aerial photographs in June, 1963, but it does appear in Air Views in June, 1964. It was reported that the protective system (electrolytic) was being installed in July, 1964 and the tank would be ready for use shortly after.
