The Water Pumping Station is Herrick Archives Number S 37. It was assigned the address 2761 Olentangy River Road. The city of Columbus owns the building, although it is located on University property.
The Pumping Station Building was torn down by the city on September 11, 1984. The same year the University leased the property to Red Roof Inn, Inc. for the construction of a motel.
