Description
The Villa Medici was designed for Cosimo di Medici in 1460 by Michelozzo Michelozzi, who was a student of Alberti. Alberti was the first to argue that a home, garden and landscape should portray a sense of unity in style. This garden was originally designed for fruit trees and vegetables only, so it has been separated from the rest of the gardens.
