Description
The garden at Collodi was originally the site of a medieval castle. Later, gardens were added, replacing parts of the fortress. In 1652 the Garzoni family began major work on the garden that resulted in its current design. The garden contains parterres, statuary, topiary, pools, secret walks and gardens in the adjacent wooded areas.
