Description

Richardson Romanesque. The main space was designed using the unconventional Greek cross layout; chancel, nave, and transepts of equal size grouped around a central square. Open interior and close proximity of the congregation create a democratic, rather than hierarchical design. Heavy mass is supported on land filled area with wood pilings.
