Description

This was a student project by Adam Shriver for Jane Amidon's LARCH 457 course, Autumn 2006. "The studio begins with a two-week competition for the re-visioning of Springfield's downtown core. Following that, a sequence of site research and design exercises encourage students to translate from existing urban land conditions to alternative typologies. Along the way students are asked to evaluate site parameters, contextual relationships and operational frameworks and to develop program proposals unique to their research findings." -- Adam Shriver
