This view shows the front steps and unusual flat tower. The stairs leading to the main entrance are laid in three tiers and are supported with arches. The non-structural columns lining the edge of the stairs are ornamental. There is no connection between the columns, which are wide enough for a person to step through.
The Ljubljana castle can been seen from this location in the Ljubljana countryside. St. Michael's was constructed 1936-1939.
