Description

This building is located at 452 W 10th Avenue. This building is linked to the Heart and Lung Institute and directly south of Rhodes Hall. This project will construct a new heart hospital to house an integrated cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology program. The facility will include inpatient services, surgical services, diagnostic and treatment services, outpatient clinic, clinical support staff area, administrative support, and cardiac rehabilitation services space. Elizabeth McKeeger Ross, an Ohio State University alumna and wife of Richard M. Ross who was also an Ohio State University alumnus,made a generous gift to the Ohio State University Heart Center Campaign Committee in the name of her late husband. The family also has a long generous history of involvement and philanthropy to the Ohio State University and the Columbus communities.
