Description

This structure is made of ice with pigment sprayed onto the exterior of the structure. The red whale-like structure collapsed after heat from the interior lights caused thermal build-up. It was not reconstructed.
Students from the Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University traveled to Finland with Kivi Sotamaa, faculty member in Architecture to participate in the construction of several of the installations.
