Description

One of the first ballparks in the country to include master planning, the San Diego Padres' new ballpark anchors a 26-block redevelopment downtown and has brought economic revitalization to the area. The ballpark brings to life San Diego's hills, canyons, and hilltops. Concessions and other ballpark facilities have been placed in 'garden buildings', with outdoor patios and terraced landscapes, creating a sense of natural hills. Pedestrian bridges cross between the seating bowl and garden buildings.
