Description
The Nebra Sky Disc is the oldest known visual representation of the cosmos. It was discovered in 2002. Nebra Ark, the multimedia visitors center near the site where the find was made pays tribute to the great cultural and historical significance of this unique artifact. The Sky Disc was found on the Mittlelberg hill and a 30-meter-high observation tower with an inclination of 10" angle is built near the site of find. The relationships between the different points that can be discerned from the observation tower are indicated on the ground by concrete strips with inscriptions that help guide the visitor's attention to the relevant points.
