Description
Located in Esfahan (a.k.a. Isfahan), Iran. Forms the terminal feature of the great public square (the Meidan) of the city. The main axis of the mosque is necessarily at an angle to the square. Courtyard, on to which face the great iwans, with the last leading to a great domed prayer hall. The architects are Master Ali-Akbar Isfahan and Sheikh Bahai.
