The City of Grandview Heights is one of the First Suburbs to downtown Columbus. Grandview Heights was founded in 1906 as a village and became a city in 1931. Together with the village of Marble Cliff and the city of Upper Arlington, the area constitutes the Tri-Village Community. Grandview Heights was predominantly a residential community characterized by older homes and tree-lined streets with unique 'downtown' featuring such as, a movie theater, eclectic shops, and a variety of restaurants within walking distance to the majority of the community (modified based on http://www.allaboutcolumbusohio.com/GH.htm).
