Description

The Frauenkirche, or Cathedral of Our Lady, is an architectural landmark of Munich. It was built 1468-1488 and designed by Joerg von Halspach. The cathedral was originally built in a Gothic style, however, it was badly damaged during World War II. The reconstructed portions of the structure were not always true to that style.
