Denver's City and County Building, located at 1437 Bannock Street, is the centerpiece of Denver's Civic Center Park, and balances the Colorado State Capitol building to the east. It took 26 years to build and incorporates the design efforts of 39 leading local architects. The Beaux-Arts Neoclassical facade has three-story Corinthian entry columns of travertine atop a grand staircase and massive bronze doors and houses city and county offices an courtrooms.
