Description
Founded in 1847, Clintonville became part of the city of Columbus in the late 1800s to early 1900s, but still retains its distinct neighborhood identity. Clintonville has remained a desirable neighborhood in which to live due to its location and access to the university area. Clintonville has 15,000 housing units and approximately 9,500 single family residences. Much of the historic character has been retained in these residences, 57% of which were built prior to 1940.
