Description

Zumthor renovated the basement of an existing building, Villa Planta, to house the contemporary art collection of the Chur Art Museum in Graubunden canton. He also designed a connecting passage between Villa Planta and the Sulserbau, another building used by the museum. This image shows the front entry to the museum through Villa Planta. Zumthor's intervention can be seen on the left and right sides of the image where there are lattice-covered windows. Keywords: exhibitions and exhibition structures, views, Graubünden.
