Description
The live/work environment gets a new twist when the element of a theater is added so that means dealing with three different programs means that there must be three different sets of relationships. How to handle these relationships becomes the first question. Given that the three, live, work, and play, are stacked atop each other it prompted a pushing and pulling of program to create blurry relationships that make you unsure where one program ends and where another begins. The theater puncturing into the office block, the office wrapping up around the theater and over taking it, and the theater puncturing into the housing are three moves to achieve this blurring. Programs alternate also to make you question, what is the programmatic organization?
