At the bottom of Manhattan, just below the financial district is Battery Park. With a distant views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The Gardens of Remembrance are dedicated to those who lost their lives on September Eleventh (9/11/2001). The plaque states "To the survivors and to all who come seeking renewed optimism and hope."
