Description
The entrance lies at the nexus of paths from all parts of the university's grounds and takes advantage of the views that lie before it. The principal floor is elevated, with two terraces. The east terrace looks down to the lake and the south terrace looks southwest over the crest of the university's land, toward the woods. The building was built in two phases. The first phase consisted of a heavy-construction supporting box. In the second phase, a light-framed pavilion was set on top of it.
