The most visible aspect of this project is naturally the Alameda Bridge, which crosses the dry bed of the Turia River. Like a number of other Calatrava bridges, this one employs a 30 degree inclined parabolic arc made of painted steel, rising some 14 meters above the road surface at its apogee. The 26 meter wide deck spans 130 meters, just above and parallel to the underground station, also designed by Calatrava.
