Description
It is the first new building to be built on the historical coal-mining Zollverein site, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001. It is a cuboid structural shell measuring 35 meters by 35 meters and is 35 meters high, reflecting the dimensions of the Zollverein mine. The building has four floors with ceilings of varying height and a roof garden. The School uses the thermal pit water that is still pumped from the ground as a source of energy. --See: http://arcspace.com/
