Description
The main idea behind this project was to connect the site of the art gallery to important art and cultural buildings in Columbus. The form of the building was derived from three separate bars that each connect to a specific building, the Columbus Art Museum, the Columbus College of Art and Design, and the Wexner Center on Ohio State’s campus. The bars are meant to interact with each other while also enclosing an outdoor symposium space for community events.
